A handcrafted collection of multi-utility kulhads (Indian chai bowls) inspired by the weaving patterns of textiles.

The inside of the kulhads is glazed and the outer surface retains the natural beige matt texture of the clay. The weave pattern is done using coloured slips (clay coloured with oxides and ceramic pigments) and the sgraffito technique.

 

These multi-utility kulhads are about 180 ml in capacity and no two are every alike! Use them for hot or cold beverages, to set desserts or yoghurt. Cause of course, they are food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe.
