“You are the entire ocean in a drop” – Rumi

 

A new collection of sculptural vessels inspired by water.

 

This art object created during the period of lockdown at the start of the 2020 pandemic, is an amalgamation of emotions. The feel of water on my skin when I really missed the outdoors during lockdown merged with simultaneous emotions of isolation and collectivism.

This vessel, holding and preserving all the emotions of the time is a direct inspiration of Rumi’s words – “You are the entire ocean in a drop”.

 

 

This is a limited edition collection. The bowls are about 8 inches in diameter and 2.5 inches in height.
