The Memory of Water

Water gives life to clay and also takes it away. Water completes the cycle of birth and death for clay.

The Memory of Water, tries to capture this elemental relationship of creation and destruction between water and clay. The water does not exist in the clay object anymore but it has left behind its memory.

The Memory of Water, an installation in ceramic was created for the H2O show hosted by the AKFD studio at Jaipur in September 2018.  The image below is a detail of the installation.
